Week 9: Identity and Access Management

 This week we took a look at identity and access management. I found the section on authentication this week interesting from the current module so I wanted to touch on that for this week's post. With cloud services becoming integral to both personal and professional environments, ensuring robust authentication methods is vital. Multi-factor authentication (MFA) adds an extra layer of security by requiring more than just a password—think verification codes sent to your phone or biometric scans. This not only protects against unauthorized access but also mitigates the risks associated with password theft.
